Vacation & Valentine's Day

Two weekends ago we got to get away and spend some time with Logan's family in St. George. It was so nice to just relax and hang out with family. We played some games, ate lots of yummy food, played with lil' Presley and chilled. I even got Logan to let me get In-N-Out....so good! We may not look very happy in this pic but we totally are! Anytime we get to sit on the couch, laugh and joke with family and just relax we are happy.

Last weekend we slept in, packed up a few things and headed up to Sandy. Though it isn't far from Provo it was still nice to get away and spend the night in a hotel. We got a great deal at a brand new Hyatt. So instead of battling the terrible Valentine's dinner crowds we made dinner at the hotel, it had a full kitchen in the room, and had some dessert. We had to go to the grocery store to get some chicken for our pasta and we felt like we were in a different state! I was joking about how we should pretend to be in a different place we'd never been so it would feel more like a vacation. But when we went to look for a grocery store we really did get lost and had no idea where we were! We thought we could rely on Logan's iPhone to get us there but for some reason google maps was totally wrong so it took about 45 minutes just to find a grocery store. Goodness! After all that we got settled in, made some dinner and enjoyed our time alone.

We are very grateful right now for all the time we've had to relax in the past few weeks. School and work makes the weeks very long so every minute of down time is appreciated! We are excited for this summer and are very grateful for this amazing opportunity to live in Washington DC. Life is great!
