whirlwind

Last week was quite a whirlwind of a week. Logan's grandma passed away about a week ago so we headed to Salina on Monday night for the funeral on Tuesday. Check out this post to get to know Logan's amazing grandmother. His grandmother was obviously loved, do you see how many flowers are there?! She was a wonderful person.

We drove home Tuesday after the funeral, were home for a couple of days and headed back down on Friday afternoon for Logan's cousin's wedding. It was a beautiful ceremony in Richfield followed by a reception later in the evening. We got to talk to a lot of old friends, who are all so kind! And I got to meet some new people as well. We had a great time at the wedding.
Congratulation Hank & Bonnie!

The rest of the weekend was spent at Logan's parents eating, shooting guns and watching the ducks in the backyard. The ducks are usually in a pen but Logan decided to let them out on the lawn to roam free. It was a lot of fun to watch them wander around.

(Lorri joined us after a bit but we didn't get a picture of us all together)

We love this picture, you can see the clay pigeon way out there and the smoke from the gun, you'll have to click on it to make it bigger.

We drove a lot in the past week but it was well worth it. We will be driving once again this weekend to St. George for our family vacation at Sand Hollow Lake. We are SO excited, especially because the entire family is coming! More pictures to come!
