sand hollow 2011

Last weekend we went on a family trip to Sand Hollow Lake in St. George. We went last year and had such a great time we wanted to go again. Growing up we always spent a lot of time in Laughlin, NV boating but since we've all grown up and moved away we haven't gone there for awhile. Sand Hollow has been a nice alternative since it's a lot closer than Laughlin.

My parents are leaving on a mission in January so we felt it was really important we got a family trip in before they left. We had such a great time and didn't get too sunburned! It was great to spend some quality time with my parents and family. We spent the first day with just my family and then Logan's family joined us the second day.

Sand Hollow is my favorite lake now, the water is absolutely perfect. It's warm enough to not be a shock of cold water but also cool enough to be refreshing on a hot day. We're sad we won't be back for awhile.

on this particular trip back to the beach they fit 7 people on the weenie, it was pretty funny

I'm so glad everyone could make it, it was such an amazing trip.
